Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity Summer: The newly restructured sessions were regularly during the year. attended by at least 30 members, who enjoyed a range of activitities on and off the trampoline apparatus. The competition groups began training for the upcoming season and all participants received a training diary to document and record their progress and achievements. Autumn: Skywalkers Trampoline Club teamed up with ActiveNewham to deliver trampoline sessions to young people with disabilities in Newham. The event was a success with many participants having the opportunity to experience trampolining for the first time. There were also students from the local Sixth Form volunenteering on the day. 15 members of the club also took part in the first London Trampoline & Tumbling Aspire Club and Challenge Cup of the season. All participants performed well and had a great time. Many gymnasts came back with medals and rosettes. Winter: 12 members in total were selected to represent their respective boroughs in the London Youth Games. 7 participants from Tower Hamlets and 5 from Newham made their way to Camden to perform in a well-spirited competition. One gymnast won an individual bronze medal! Spring: Two members of the club qualified to represent London in the Inter Regional Challenge Cup Final at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham. Well done!

Funding: We successfully applied for a Sports England grant to fund the coaching courses of four new coaches in order to cater for more members.
