## Activities

**Objects:** TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC PARTICULARLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, IN TANZANIA AND MALAWI THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT BY PROMOTING BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS.

**Activities:** We provide small grants to grass roots organisations and educational institutions in Tanzania and Malawi.  The aim is to assist local communities to conserve the fragile habitats around upland streams, whilst also enhancing their livelihood opportunities. The grants are also designed to enable students and early career researchers in the two countries to gain practical experience in conservation.
