This Charity was set up in July 2023, but in the period ended 31[st] December, 2024 Wirral Footpaths and Open Spaces Preservation Society (WFPOSPS) continued to operate as an unincorporated charity, No.512633. This was because WFPOSPS’s constitution required it to obtain the consent of the members to transfer its assets to the CIO and thereafter dissolve the unincorporated charity. 

This was obtained at the Society’s AGM in April 2024, following which the accounts of the unincorporated charity 512633 for the period ended 31[st] December, 2024 were submitted to the Charity Commission in April 2025, and the assets of the unincorporated charity were transferred to the CIO 1203956. 

This explains the absence of any accounts of the CIO for the year ended 31[st] December 2024.
