The Charity's objects (the Objects) are: (1) To advance in life and relieve needs of young people through: (a) The provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life; (b) Providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals; 1 (2) To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society. For the purpose of this clause ‘socially excluded’ means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of one of more of the following factors: unemployment; financial hardship; youth or old age; ill health (physical or mental); substance abuse or dependency including alcohol and drugs; discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender re-assignment; poor educational or skills attainment; relationship and family breakdown; poor housing (that is housing that does not meet basic habitable standards; crime (either as a victim of sexual exploitation or domestic violence or other crime, or as an offender rehabilitating into society); (3) Powers. 4 The prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship in the UK and East Africa in such ways as the trustees may determine.

Collaborating with the<br>local Job Centre to support job seekers by<br>offering guidance, CV assistance, and<br>interview preparation.<br>3. Youth Engagement & Sports Initiatives<br>Running the "Kicking Off Dreams" football<br>project, funded by Sports England**,**to promote<br>youth development, teamwork, and physical<br>well-being.<br>4. Volunteer & Community Involvement<br>Encouraging local engagement through<br>volunteering opportunities to strengthen<br>community ties and provide support services.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **30/04/2024** 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the **basis of report** accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable  Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

The charity’s gross income has exceeded £250,000 and I am qualified to undertake the examination by being a qualified member of ACCA & ICAEW _._ 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect,: 

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act; or 

- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or 

- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination. 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
