The Fund has completed a skills audit and also a list of key skills required. This is reviewed on a regular basis. Potential trustees are selected with those having the required key skills given priority. They are interviewed by a governance sub-committee who make recommendations to the board. All existing Trustees then interview the recommended applicants. References are taken up and if satisfactory the potential trustee is invited to join the Board. It is not a given that they will join the board. |
