**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PRESERVE, MAINTAIN AND DEVELOP HULL GENERAL CEMETERY FOR ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: A) TO PROMOTE THE USE OF THE CEMETERY AS AN EXAMPLE OF A FORMER VICTORIAN PUBLIC BURIAL GROUND. B) TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE LANDSCAPE, ARBORETA, FLORA AND WILDLIFE, AND THE UNIQUE HISTORICAL HERITAGE ASSETS, OF HULL GENERAL CEMETERY. C) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC OF THE CEMETERY’S HISTORY AND THE IMPORTANCE TO THE CITY OF HULL.

**Activities:** We aim to protect, preserve and maintain the heritage of the cemetery. Also encourage flora and fauna to thrive in the habitat which has been created. Each Monday volunteers meet to undertake practical tasks to achieve the above.  Including - installation of bird, bat, hedgehog boxes, monitoring their use. We undertake biographical research and produce books and hold educational walks.
