All<br>activities are delivered in Easington and the<br>surrounding towns and villages for the<br>inhabitants of East Durham.<br>A walking group called the Walkie Talkies<br>has been developed to offer weekly walking<br>sessions for non-runners.<br>A junior pilot project has been introduced<br>and offers weekly sessions for young<br>children and focuses on running, jumping<br>and throwing.<br>Grant funding was awarded by Durham<br>County Council Neighbourhood budget with<br>a total of £2,720 and £500 from EPA<br>Limited.|

EDRC has its own grant making policy for other groups and individuals to bid for funding in line with their objectives. The club offers fundraising activities in the form of food bank donations and opportunities to volunteer at the local VCS.
