Achievements and Performance
Search and Rescue Lincolnshire has been established for
12 months. During this time, we have recruited a
membership of 16 search and rescue technicians and
seven support staff. Each month. we conduct training
exercises. We are building upon solid relationships with the
Lincolnshire Resilien￿ Forum and Lincolnshire Emergency
Services to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable
persons who are missing in Lincolnshire and beyond.
We were called out throughout flooding events in
Lincolnshire during the autumn and winter and were able to
offer support to vulnerable persons. One notable example
of our capability was a call-out to a disabled, elderfy lady
stranded in a flooded house with 6 dogs and 3 cats. We
worked closely with the Fire and Rescue Service to recover
and relocate the lady and all her pets to safety.
