Trustees Annual Report

Structure and Management

New Hope International Church Currently has four trustees, as listed above. The church currently has one paid member of staff, church leader Sarisa Williams, who is paid through donations from our church members. All trustees are interviewed and have personal background checks done prior to being given the role of Trustee. Questions at interview include availability and competency/skills that they have. We host regular zoom meetings to discuss what is happening and to discuss ideas given to us by other church members, as well as our own.

Activities and Objectives

The main purpose of the charity is to maintain the growth of the church and to spread the love of Jesus Christ by touching the hearts of people locally, nationally and internationally.

Achievements

New hope international church UK continues to be a beacon of hope both locally (Grantham, Lincolnshire), nationally and Internationally. Locally, being a new charity, we are approachable for funding enquiries but during this period was not overly active. However, this did change significantly after this period.

Internationally we have supported a UK based charity, Forever foundation UK, that support children living in terrible conditions in Uganda. We currently sponsor twelve children to help them live an independent life. Our donation of £300 per month covers the following:

School fees

School meals

School uniforms (excluding shoes) School materials £5 towards medical fees per child.

We also regularly donate to an orphanage in Thailand, Baan Eurphon, that looks after children that have been abandoned. They also help parents that are struggling with new born babies.

We send £400 per month to our mother church New Hope International (Seattle based, registered in the USA). They use the money to spread the kingdom of Jesus Christ and help people both in the church and outside of it.

Goals for this coming year

Locally we shall be involved in organizing charity events for a child who has an optical condition. Freya Birch football tournament will raise money for Freya to visit the Eiffel tower. Freya has done a lot of fundraising in the past for another charity, Odylia Theraputics, but we believe she needs a break herself.

Near to Christmas time I, Matthew ash, shall be walking the streets of Grantham dressed as Santa, giving out gifts that have been bought via both donations from the public and Church money.

We shall also be supporting a local cafe, Hope cafeC (no link) that provide food packages to those in need.

We shall also be providing food packages to the elderly members of Grantham, Lincolnshire with church money.

We also aim to use some funds to go out to the homeless, supplying food and warm clothes exc.

We will be aiming to do things in other parts of the UK too.

Internationally we shall continue to support The forever foundation UK and Baan Eurphon orphanage, Thailand.
