Activities

We conduct sterilization (spay/neuter) projects in communities where free-living cat colonies have been identified. We help community members access high-quality and free/low-cost veterinary care. We train local people and newly started charities how to trap, neuter, and return free-living cats. We focus on helping underserved communities throughout the Global South, currently in Greece.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:for The Public Benefit To Promote Humane Behaviour Towards Cats In Greece And Such Other Parts Of The World As The Trustees Shall Decide, And To Educate The Public In Matters Pertaining To Cat Health And Well-Being In General And The Prevention Of Cruelty And Suffering Among Cats, In Particular Through The Provision Of Spaying And Neutering Services Designed To Reduce The Population Of Uncared For Or Free-Living Cats And The Provision Of Necessary Emergency And Preventative Veterinary Treatments To Homeless Cats And Those Belonging To Caregivers Of Limited Financial Means.
