We are gradually fonnalising an increasing number of policies and
procedures as we grow. As we recruit new Iruste88. we plan lo create
induclion programmes to include time wth each ol the trustees, staff arKI
as many as possible volunteers. New trustees wtll be invited to spènd
time in the operational aspects of Remade, and a dropbox folder will be
set UP lo include all the written documents which will help trustees in their
role.

Wè opened our Remade shop in Augususeptember 2023 wFth the
Support of Crowngate Shopping centre and began lo sell our donated
fabrics to the public on one moming a week, staffed by volunteers. By
the end of June 2024, the shop had mad8 Steady progress opening up to
5 sessions a week. This has enabled the public to take up the low cost
offer of fabrics ffom £2 a meter, and has also encouraged public
donations of fabric and craft materials which would otherwise have gone
to landfill.
We have gone on to recruit further volunteers and had about 20 in place.
working on a rota to process, present and sell fabrics for shows and the
shop. We attended Malvem Quilt show in October and May and were
able to promote our message as well as provide low cost craft fabric8 to a
wide range of customers.

W8 have run a range of workshops op8n to the public. providing an
opportunrty to try new t8chniquès and skills. We have mad8 th888 as low
cost as possible, charging from £5 per sessbon. We have had very
positive feedback and are now developing further wothshop opportuntb'es
and group sessions in knitting. slow strtching. leathepNork and crafting.
We have understood how this is helping with the health and mental
wellbeing of those attending.

workshops $8ssions
We are beginning to pibt providing boxeslbags of fabrics and craft
materials to community groups. chanties and schi)ols to enable them to
create costumes for Young Theatre. a mural for a Church group, doaks
for rprenactors and general crafting projects. Fabrics a￿ being used for
for canal LM)at interiors and camper vans, and coats, cushions, bags,
curtains. chairs and sofas for indNKlual members of tho public.
As our volunteer workforce has grown from 4 to 20, we have heard from
them about how Remade has 'Giv8n me my lrfe back Enabled me to
grow in confKJence again which has helped me to consider returning io
work., 'GNen me an outlet and enthusrasm for my crafting which doesn't
