Our purpose is to celebrate, and educate the Sikh and wider community about Sikhism, and share our values amongst the local community. This involves celebrating historical Sikh festivals and enhancing the lives and knowledge of our congregation. We also want to integrate with other faith groups and wide community in the Region and promote, equality, respect and friendship.

Objects: 1) To Advance The Sikh Religion In Greater Manchester For The Benefit Of The Public Through The Holding Of Public Celebrations Of Religious Festivals.2) To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Greater Manchester And The Surrounding Area The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.3) To Act As A Resource For Young People Up To The Age Of 25 Living In Greater Manchester By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical, Educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:a. Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;b. Advancing Education;c. Relieving Unemployment.
