I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Bexhill Men's Shed for the year ended 31 July 2024
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect of the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
It is your duty to ensure that Bexhill Men's Shed has kept adequate accounting records and to prepare statutory accounts that give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit [/loss] of Bexhill Men's Shed. You consider that Bexhill Men's Shed is exempt from the statutory audit requirement for the year.
We have not been instructed to carry out an audit or a review of the accounts of Bexhill Men's Shed. For this reason, we have not verified the accuracy or completeness of the accounting records or information and explanations you have given to us and we do not, therefore, express any opinion on the statutory accounts.
