Para 1.20 During the year, the charity delivered its Economic
Empowerment Programme and a six-month Safety
Awareness Programme, supporting 20 participants.

Participants demonstrated increased ability to
generate income and improved confidence in
recognising and responding to risk. Follow-up
engagement indicated that skills learned were being
applied in practice, including income-generating
activities and improved financial contribution within
households.

The charity also developed two new programmes:
Journaling for Healing (as part of its Self-care &
Wellness Programme) and Budgeting (Cash Method)
(as part of its Economic Empowerment Programme),
supported by grant funding. In addition, research was
commissioned to inform programme design, and
podcast content was introduced to support wider
engagement.

A fundraising event was also held during the year,
raising approximately £700, contributing to the
charity’s overall income and supporting programme
delivery.

Learning from programme delivery highlighted the
importance of ongoing mentorship, access to markets,
and integrating emotional support alongside practical
interventions.

For the year ended 05 April 2025

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 5 April 2025.

Responsibilities of trustees and examiner

As the charity trustees of the Trust, trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. The charity trustees considered that audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the charities Act 2011.
