**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE CENTRAL 7.4 ACRES WITHIN BUCKENHAM WOOD COUNTY WILDLIFE SITE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND TO COLLABORATE WITH THE OTHER LANDOWNERS WITHIN THE COUNTY WILDLIFE SITE TO ENCOURAGE A HOLISTIC AND SUSTAINABLE APPROACH TO ENHANCE BIODIVERSITY AND MAXIMISE QUIET ENJOYMENT BY THE PUBLIC.

**Activities:** The Buckenham Ancient Woodland Trust has purchased the central portion of Buckenham Woods off Wood Lane, Strumpshaw.  Working with the neighbouring natural areas and woodland owners, we intend to protect and manage the woodland to allow wildlife to thrive and ensuring that our local community continues to benefit from this ancient green space for many generations to come.
