registered with the Charity Commission on 191h June 2023.

The charitable objects ore to odvance the education lincluding social and physical
troiningl of the pupils al St Francis of Assisi Primary School by providing and assisting
in the provlsion of advice, resources and facilities Inot required to be provided by
the local education authorityl for education at the school.
The charity. dLJring start up. ha5 conducted reseorch on the needs of the mosl
vulnerable children and fomilies. We have costed up provision and explored

portnerships and delivery agents. We have anolysed data on our priority oreas of
wellbeing, attainment and mental health.
After some smoll successes in fundraising. we have now marshalled a fundraising
committee to support ourwork who ore assisting wlth a fundraising auction to raise
fund5 for future after school club provision.
We are hopeful that as we conh.nve wth the right support, we can deliver high
impact for the children ol St Franci5 of Assisi.
Reserves Polley
The trustees agree to hold in advance ot least 3 months operating costs in free
reserves. k yet we have not incurred significant expenditure as most work during
the start up phase was done on o voluntary basis. Once we pay for choritable
aclivities plonned in the next financial year, we will maintain al least 3 months of our
planned financial commitments in order to meet our liabilities comfortobly, with
adequate rvnway forfundraising.
Flnancial revlew
Income forlhe year totolled £2562 and expenditure £10. The nel increose on
unrestricted funds for the year was £2552. At 3131 March 2024 the charity had free
funds not tied up in fixed assets of £2552.
Statement ol trustees, responslbllltles
The trustees ore required to prepare financial statements that give a true and fair
view of Ihe slate of the charity as at the balance sheet date and to record its
incoming resources and the application of resources, including income and
expenditure, for the financial year. In preparing those finonciol statements. Trustees
should follow best practice ond=

The tru5te8s ore responsible for maintaining proper occounting records which
disclose with reasonable accuracy at ony time the financial posilion of the charity
and enables them to ensure Ihat the financial statements comply wilh Ihe Challties
Act 1993. The trustees are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity
and hence for taking reasonable sleps for the prevention and detection of fraud
and other irregularities.

The trustees confirm that they have complied with the dufy in section 4 of Ihe
Charitie5 Act 2006 to hove due regard lo the Charity Commission's general
