football tournament named ‘The Chrissy
Greenhalgh Memorial Cup’ in Reddish
which is free to enter for local teams. A
total of 170 children take part in the
tournament. Alongside that we host a
family fun day with bouncy castles, DJ, hot
food and fun games for children and their
families to enjoy.
October 2023 saw us host our first annual
Halloween Party which was attended by
over 100 people from the local area. The
party included a buffet, DJ and party games
with prizes.
We also receive donations from local
people and businesses which we auction or

children and young people directly through
donations to their sports / activity teams
totalling £1921. With our donations those
teams have been able to buy the kits and
equipment necessary to allow their
members to continue to engage. We have
also paid ‘subs’ for those families unable to
afford them.
We also support individuals and families by
assisting financially when they are unable
to fund school trips, trips with their teams, a
weekly shop or clothing.
Reddish benefits hugely from the efforts of
this charity as we support those affected by
things like bereavement and financial
hardship. Our large food donations to the
local foodbank for example allows us to
