Annual Report April 2023 to March 2024

The Objects of the CIO continue to remain as they have been since its inception:

4.1. the advancement of the Christian faith, in accordance with the Statement of Faith, in Burton-upon-Trent, the surrounding districts and such other parts of the United Kingdom and the world in such ways as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide;

4.3. to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for the benefit of the community of Burton-upon-Trent and the surrounding districts with the object of improving the conditions of life of said inhabitants as the Charity Trustees may from time to time in their discretion determine.

We still await the transfer of ownership of our building from the founding members of Burton Renewal Fellowship, we anticipate this taking place in 2025. We will then close BRF as a charitable trust and transfer everything over to the CIO Riverside Church Burton. Until such time all policies and procedures will remain in up to date, and in place, but no monies will be coming in or out. As such Riverside Church Burton will maintain a £0 balance.
