In the**<br>**first 6 months we raised £60 from**<br>**Lloyds. In the last year we have**<br>**launched a website and a fundraising**<br>**campaign. Since July 2024 we have**<br>**been successful in raising £2500 from**<br>**Tees Millions and over £500 in**<br>**sponsorship and campaigns. This will**<br>**be used for the purpose of the**<br>**applications, to support the Open**<br>**Orchestra programme in**<br>**Middlesbrough.**||

We were successful**<br>**in raising just over £3000 in applications**<br>**and campaigns. This fell short of our**<br>**target. Fundraising is proving much**<br>**more difficult for newly formed charities,**<br>**with low income, and no history of**<br>**successful funding applications. Most of**<br>**the large funds available to arts**<br>**organisations have only become**<br>**available to other large charities since**<br>**before Covid. We are hopeful this will**<br>**change in the coming years.**|

That said,**<br>**at the last board meeting it was agreed**<br>**this charity was a useful vehicle for**<br>**raising awareness, lobbying for more**<br>**funds to music education, and to apply**<br>**for small grants that would have a big**<br>**impact on individuals in our region. We**<br>**are in an area with high levels of**<br>**deprivation and most children cannot**<br>**afford to access music education**<br>**programmes.**|
