## **Activities and objectives in the year**
Our Aims:
By providing a sustainable, and flexible and multi-purpose, community-led hub (58 Flaxley Road) to host a wide range of activities, such as 'drop in' sessions, regular groups, and meetings/workshops, and provide space for partners, including charities / social enterprises, to also deliver activities including services.
In this first year we established the charity, and began to establish individual roles, in preparation for
1. taking ownership of 58 Flaxley Road, Selby
2. for taking on employment of the Our Space Coordinator, and
3. for taking financial responsibility for the ownership and management of Our Space and its activities.
## **Management of Our Space (Selby)**
All decisions are made by trustees in accordance with our policies and Articles of Association.
## **Recruitment of trustees**
We involve local residents who share the vision and values of the charity.
We seek to identify needed skills and match those with what people can offer
We seek references and all sign up to a code of conduct.
In the coming year we will look to recruit trustees who have skills in and can contribute to:
- Employment matters
- Finance – a dedicated treasurer is needed
- Fundraising
