The Charrty exists to advance the Christian faith for the benefrt of the public throughout North Somerset in
Ilne with the principles of the Baptist denomination, by providin8 facilities and support through Out￿aCh and
pastoral care to the local communty.

Weston-super-mare Baptist Churches is a charrty that enables the Baptist Churches in and arourHI W8Ston to
work together to support the Ictal communibes 1)ut by sharirg the Goryj ne4¥S of Jesus and by providing
faultties and support.
This year there have been a number of acb"vites that have been held beknn the Baptist churches.
These have included offering shared Alpha groups in order to provide an opportunity for people lo explore the
Chrtslian faith. Renew 193 which is 8 shop space on the Wode High Streel for people to come in for a drink, lo
do craft aetivitr.es or PLttzles, and if they want or just lo chal with the hosts. The hosts come from all of the
churches involved, members of the team taking on shrfts to help cover holi¢Jays and sickness where
needed so that the space can be open. Through the year those attending include wular cjienls who
appreciate the space and conversab"on, along with marty others who drop in on a one off basis. Those using
the space include people who are struggling with mental health, 1￿Mele&snesS, loneliness, anxiety or a
just exploring the high street and come in to see what is happening. Thr(yJghoLrt the year there has been an

For the accounting period the charity had one part time employees supported three Baptist churchey in
Weston-super-mare.
The financial circumstancess for the year are sel out In the accompanying financial Ststemenls.
The Accounts for the period have been wepafed on a rec*pts and payments basis.
The OrganiSatic￿ has Cash reserves of £3,238 as at 31 December 2023. all of wthich is held in a CAF Bank
Account
The Trustees have aijopled a Reserves Poliw I￿1¢h requires 3 months of expenditu￿ to be held in reserves.
