## **Charitable objects:** 

Luton Africa Hope exists to advance education, relief of poverty, community development for the public benefit, particularly among African and diaspora communities. 

The Trustees confirm that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. 



## **4. Review of Activities and Achievements** 

During the reporting period, Luton Africa Hope did not carry out any charitable programmes or projects. 

This inactivity was due to: 

- Limited operational capacity and funding 

- A period of organisational review and strategic planning 

Despite the inactivity, the Trustees ensured that statutory, governance, and compliance responsibilities were maintained.

This period has been challenging in retaining and recruiting volunteers.

Luton Africa Hope plans to initiate core activities in the coming year. The trustees aim to: 

- Organise regular prayer meetings and lectures to engage the community. 

- Celebrate key religious festivals to foster community spirit and inclusivity. 

- Develop and distribute informative literature about the Christian faith. 

- Provide volunteer training on first aid and safeguarding for children. 

- Organise youth events, cultural days, and activities to help individuals discover Luton. 

The trustees are dedicated to making a positive impact in the Luton community by promoting the values and teachings of Christianity.
