1. Trustees' Annual Report
New Charitable Purpose Added
During the reporting period, Hong Kong Scouser amended Clause 3 of its Constitution to include an additional charitable object relating to the preservation of the history and heritage of the Royal Hong Kong Regiment (The Volunteers)
"To advance education and promote cultural heritage for the public benefit by preserving and sharing the history, values, and contributions of the Royal Hong Kong Regiment (The Volunteers), and by fostering intergenerational understanding, identity, and community cohesion among Hong Kong migrants in the United Kingdom”
This amendment broadened the charity's ability to deliver educational and heritage activities for the public benefit.
Banking and Financial Operations Update
During the reporting period, the charity completed changes to its banking arrangements following the appointment of an additional trustee, M T M Choi. This restored access to the charity's bank account, enabled fundraising activities to recommence, and allowed all outstanding liabilities to be settled during the financial year.
