Summary of Iha maln achlevements of the charlty durlng the year Section E Financial review Brlef stalem8nt of the charity's pollcy on reserves The charity received a mere £1,530 as initial funding during the period under review, and together with funds re￿ived on or after 1. January 2024 these funds will be applied towards the 2024 and subsequent con￿rtS promoted by the charity and, as the educational programme develops, towards that programme. More generally, the charity's funding, and therefore th8 ¢oncert and educational programmes it promotes, are entirely dependent on the degree to which the costs of promoting concerts can be met by donations and ticket income. The Trustees, present intention is to accumulate and maintain reserves which are sufficient lo enable the promotion of the next year's concert and educational programmes. Section F Other optional information The charity Lsndertook a successful fund-raising campaign early in 2024 which was designed lo enable the re-launch of the concert progr8mme previously carried on Ipre-covidl by the Wollon under Edge Concert Series (see above). In the event, the charity was able lo promote a successful concert in June 2024, and is presently organising another concert in Novèmber 2024. Further plans are afoot for a three concert programme for 2025. The charlty's determination to maintain the quality of the musical programme means that current donation levels mLssI be maintained and. ideally, improved. The Trustees also hope it will be possible to secure some more permanent "structural" funding as the programme develops.
