## **Objectives and Activities** 

The mission of Amna Refugee Healing Network is to provide healing and support for refugees through therapeutic and community-based programs, aiding individuals and families affected by displacement and trauma. 

For this reporting period, Amna Refugee Healing Network did not engage in any financial or programmatic activities, as the organization was still in the process of establishing essential infrastructure, including the setup of an operational bank account. 

## **Structure, Governance, and Management** 

Amna Refugee Healing Network operates as a Charitable Incorporated Organization (CIO) and is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (Charity Number: 1203454). The charity is governed by its constitution, and the trustees manage the charity’s activities, ensure accountability, and adhere to the regulatory standards established by the Charity Commission.

The charity’s financial position remains at a zero balance, as there were no financial transactions. 

## **Reserves Policy** 

As this was the initial operational period for Amna Refugee Healing Network, no reserves have been established, given that no funds were received or expended during the reporting timeframe. 

## **Explanation for Nil Return** 

The trustees confirm that the charity’s bank account was not active during this initial period. Consequently, no financial transactions occurred, and both income and expenses are recorded as zero, in accordance with Charity Commission guidelines for a nil return.

This report was approved by the Board of Trustees on 31/10/2024, with trustees affirming that it accurately reflects the charity’s financial and operational status for the period ending 31 December 2023.
