**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE RELIGION OF ISLAM IN THE ASIA PACIFIC REGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:-A)  THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS UNDERTAKING PROJECTS TO ADVANCE THE RELIGION OF ISLAM;B)  HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES PUBLIC CELEBRATIONS OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON ISLAM TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE ISLAMIC FAITH.C) THE PROVISION OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF ANY AGE TO LEARN ABOUT AND ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC FAITH. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
