**Objects:** TO PRESERVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE OF WALTON, WAKEFIELD AND THE NATION: THE HISTORIC AND ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE OF THE WALL AND ITS IMMEDIATE VICINITY SURROUNDING WHAT WAS CHARLES WATERTON'S NATURE RESERVE IN WALTON (THE AREA OF BENEFIT); AND TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE ARCHITECTURE, GEOGRAPHY, NATURAL AND SOCIAL HISTORY OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT ("THE OBJECTS").

**Activities:** We exist to:- to preserve the historic and architectural heritage of the wall, surrounding the world's first nature reserve in Walton, Wakefield, built by Charles Waterton and its immediate vicinity;- to educate the general public in its architecture, geography, natural and social history.
