## **1. Structure, Governance, and Management** 

## **Governing Document:** 

Almsly Foundation is governed by its Constitution, adopted on 06 June 2023. The charity is registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). 

## **Trustees:** 

The trustees who served during the financial year are as follows: 

- Thomas Lowes 

- Safiyah Ouaguena 

- Zainab Iqbal 

- Claire Short 

The trustees are responsible for overseeing the operations of the charity and ensuring it complies with its charitable objectives. 

## **2. Objectives and Activities** 

## **Charitable Objectives:** 

The Almsly Foundation aggregates global micro-donations to fund charities advancing humanitarian needs. By focusing on the prevention or relief of poverty, disaster relief, and development, we transform small public donations into impactful aid to support those in need. Our grants are aimed at advancing health, saving lives, and alleviating poverty through partnerships with other charities and organisations. 

## **Activities in the Reporting Period:** 

During the financial year ending 5 April 2024, the Almsly Foundation remained in its development phase. The charity has been focused on: 

- Developing the charity's platform (web app) to support future activities. 

- Establishing governance structures and operational processes. 

- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. 

No income was generated, and no expenditures were incurred during this period.

## **3. Financial Review** 

There were no financial transactions during the reporting period. As the charity is still in its setup phase, there are no reserves, income, or expenditures to report. 

## **4. Plans for the Future** 

The Almsly Foundation plans to launch its platform in the next financial year. The focus will be on: 

- Finalising the web app and deploying live. 

- Initiating outreach programs and marketing initiatives to raise awareness. 

- Exploring funding opportunities to support the charity's activities. 

- Exploring partnership opportunities with humanitarian organisations.
