STALYBRIDGE UNITARIAN FREE CHRISTIAN CHURCH AND SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31ST MARCH 2024 I report on the financial accounts of Stalybridge Unrtarian Free Christian Church and SurKJay st School for the year ending 31 March 2024. Respecllve Responsibilities of Trustees and the Examiner The Treasurer of Stalybriclge Unitarian Free Christian Church and Sunday School is responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The Trustees consider that an audit is not required and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to examine the ac(x)unts in accordance with star)dard accounting practices and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basls of Independent Examiner's Statsment My examination was carried out in accnrdance with standard accounting practices and Included: A review of the accounting records kept by the Trustees. A comparison of the accounts presented with those accounts,. and Consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the Treasurer conceming any such items. The Charity is managed by the above Trustees who forn) the Committee. The Committee is nominated by th¢ Cong￿gatiOn following an Annual 8en¢ral Meeting. The nominated Committee meei bi-monthly and forn)al decisions are agreed at theK meetings. The Congregation are U￿tsted throughout the year via a bi-monthly magazine. 2. The primary objective is to hold weekly acts of worship for the benefit of the community. Young people are encoUr￿led io attend worship and also to attend Sunday school which is held weekly alongside morning worship. Regular fund raisin8 activities are held to SUp￿rt the continued use of the Church. 3. We are lucky to have a very stable and continued growth with our congregalion. There are a g(￿d number of family groups within the congregalion. Perfom]ance is measured by the number of regular worshipFtrs each week. Public benefit is me&sured by making the building open for appropriate use. For example, weekly, Tots group, art group and craft group. When required the Local Authority use as a wlling station.
