Para 1.20 | ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE Charitable activities During the period ended 31 March 2024 the charity launched a monthly Social Event 'Tilling, Tea and Cake' in Rye,( 1st 5 months 202 attendees) where two Health & Wellbeing organisations plus a GP provide information, support and guidance plus hand massages provided by professionally trained volunteers. A Murder Mystery Lunch event attended by 55 people. Started development work on a befriending service to provide companionship calls. FUTURE PLANS Launching a Cancer Cafe in collaboration with The Community Hub on Rye Hill in (January 2025). Launch Befriending ‘Companionship Calls in September 2025. Develop the 'Tilling, Tea and Cake' model in other rural areas of Rother starting with Battle. |
