the pre-school children of, particularly,
but not exclLFsively, Denbigh.

Cylch Meilhrin Hadau'r Nanl opened in
September 2025 on a brand new site al
Ysgol Twm o'r Nanl. Two previous settings
(Bodawen and Meithrin Mwy) merged
together to set up Cylch Hadau'r Nant.
Both previous sellings had been running in
Denbigh for over 25 years.
Cylch Hadau'r Nant provid8s morning and
afternoon playgroup sessions throughout
the week, during term time for the public
benefit and has full day care registration.
The Cylch follows the Early Years
curriculum for non- maintained settings and
is a provider of early education, and it
provides this exclusively through the
medium of Welsh. The Cylch Meithrin is
accessible for all children between 2 and 4
years in Denbigh and oullying areas and
these children, and their families, therefore
are the beneficiaries of this charity.
This is a service which provides the Welsh
Language 'Aclive Offer'.11 provides a
service that anticipates, identifies and
meets the Welsh language and cultural
needs of children who use or may use the
servic6.
The Cylch is a registered charity run by a
management committee of Volunteers. The
Cylch relies on a mixture of grant funding
and fees and occasionally fundraising. The

through the medium of Welsh. However,
nol all the children come from Welsh
speaking backgrounds. The Cylch
enGourages all children lo attend Welsh
medium education.
Cylch Meilhrin Hadau'r Nant is registered
with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) as
Sessional day Care for 60 Ghildren age 24.
The Cylch is open every day from 8am to
3pm during term limelBreakfast Club
between 8am and 9am).
The Cylch are members of Mudiad Meilhrin
and receive continuous support from
Mudiad Meithrin.11 is run by a committed
and motivated team of staff and voluntary
committee.
The Cylch offers every child within the age
range an opportunity lo attend, irrespective
of their needs, ¢olour, language, religion,
social economy background or family
circumstancesThe Cylch is very important
to children's development and is
instrumental in offering the best possible
start in life in relation to language
development, social development and
eneral well-bein
The trustees have due regard to the
guidance issued by the Charity
Commission on public benefil and
understand the charily's purposes as set

plans that ensures il continues to meet its
objectives as set out above.
