Financial Review

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 At the end of the financial year, the charity
remained in a sound financial position. Total
income for the year amounted to £52,171, and
total payments were £51,801, resulting in a
small surplus of £370. Cash funds at year end
were £41,992.
The trustees are satisfied that the charity’s
resources are sufficient to meet its ongoing
commitments and planned activities for the
coming year.
Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 The trustees aim to maintain sufficient
unrestricted reserves to ensure the continuity of
the charity’s ministry and to meet any
unexpected costs or income shortfalls. The
policy is to hold reserves of at least three to six
months of regular expenditure, which provides a
prudent level of security given the church’s
reliance on voluntary income and donations.
Any excess funds are invested with Kingdom
Bank which has aims in line with the objects of
the charity.
Amount of reserves held Para 1.22 At 31 December 2024, the unrestricted reserves
of the charity stood at £41,992. The trustees
consider this to be within the target range set by
the reserves policy and appropriate for the
charity’s size and activities.

concern for the foreseeable future. The charity
has stable income sources, modest reserves, and
no significant liabilities.
