Objectives and Activities
Bridging Development Gaps (BDG) is in the process of finalizing its governing document, which will outline its objectives, operational framework, and activities. Despite not having a formal governing document in place, the trustees remain focused on the charity's intended purpose to advance the mental, spiritual, moral, and physical development of disadvantaged individuals through charitable means.
BDG’s core goal is to provide opportunities for individuals to reach their full potential and improve their quality of life, particularly by supporting those facing unemployment or at risk of unemployment. The charity intends to achieve this by:
-
Offering practical support to help individuals overcome obstacles and regain stability.
-
Providing high-quality programs that equip disadvantaged individuals with skills and confidence to secure employment or start their own businesses.
-
Delivering employment support initiatives, such as job training, work placements, mentoring, and entrepreneurship resources.
-
Running skills development programs, including technical training, apprenticeships, and educational support.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, no activities were undertaken during the financial year. The trustees are committed to resolving these challenges and establishing a firm foundation for the charity's operations in the coming year.
