Our<br>aim is to help any cat in need,<br>promoting  kindness  and  suppressing<br>cruelty wherever possible.   Our goal is<br>to ensure that as many cats as<br>possible  are  not  left  alone  on  the<br>street.|

follow up On neuter/Spay and refresher training for all Fosterers. **Growth in Donations** – Increase in the number of regular direct debit donations and also donations overall. 

**Open Day & Tea Party** _–_ The charity held its second open day/fund raiser in May 25,   members of the public were able to meet the Volunteer/Foster team as well as the Trustees. They were also able to meet a number of rescued cats and read more about recent rescues. We also had a raffle and sold donated goods;  it was a huge success, doubling what we made the previous year. We also held our very first ‘Tea Party’ in September 25 where we invited a few of our supporters to have afternoon tea with a couple of trustees and fosterers and meet some of our recent rescues/foster cats. This worked very well as we were able to spend more time with each supporter and we plan to offer more of these. 

## **Vet Partnership** 

We have changed our partnership to a new  Vet practice to give us more flexibility with treating our cats, this has also given us the opportunity to understand vet exemption and save the charity some funds. 

## **Additional Storage** 

As we increase the number of Cats we rescue/foster and our supporters have increased we receive more donations so were in need of additional storage. We have been using the garage of one of our volunteers/Fosterers and have installed new locks to the garage door and also purchased racking. 

## **Future Plans** 

To focus on grants and larger donations to fund additional garden rooms to enable us to help more cats.

We completed work on the Garden Achievements against Room at our headquarters (after being objectives set Para 1.41 awarded funding the previous year), this was a real achievement as it gives

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Cats Rescue Gloucestershire for the year ended 31[st] March 2025. 

## **Responsibilities and basis of report** 

As the charity’s trustees of the Charity, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
