Charity name: The Love Grey Foundation

Charity registration number: 1203342

Objectives and Activities

SORP reference
Summary of the purposes of
the charity as set out in its
governing document
Para 1.17 The Love Grey Foundation exists to support parents,
families and carers affected by
premature birth, baby loss, child bereavement and early-
years illness. This purpose will
manifest in the following forms:
- Raising awareness of prematurity, newborn illness,
stillbirth and neonatal death.
- Campaigning for better support and better continuity of
support for parents and
families.
- Providing resources for parents, siblings, families and
carers to feel better supported,
highlighting resources currently available and creating
resources where they are not
available.
- Supporting and funding other charities research into: the
causes of prematurity and
baby loss, ways to better support families, ways to better
support medical professionals
working in this space.
The Love Grey Foundation has been created in memory of
baby Grey who died when he
was three weeks old. As parents who live with the loss of
our child, we are in a unique
position to support other families going through
prematurity and baby loss. Nothing
can prepare you for premature birth, severe newborn
illness, or the death of a child, the
trauma can leave parents and families feeling isolated,
depressed, unable to cope. Day to
day tasks can feel impossible and comprehensive support
is so important. We will seek
to support families through the creation of resources,
products, campaigns and grants to
other charitable organisations and initiatives operating in
this space.
Summary of the main
activities in relation to those
purposes for the public
benefit, in particular, the
activities, projects or
services identified in the
