One Southampton Row London WC1B 5HA ## ELEPHANT CHARGE UK ## **Report of the Treasurer** For the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 The Treasurer presents his report for Elephant Charge UK (the ‘Charity’) for the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024. ## _**Principal Activity**_ The Charity was granted authorisation by the Charity Commission for England and Wales (the ‘Authority’) to act as a Registered Charity. The authorisation was granted effective from 31 May 2023. The Charity has been active in the period. ## _**Review of Business**_ For the period ended 31 December 2024, the Charity registered surplus funds of £5,372.65, of which £4,000 is restricted for onward payment to Elephant Charge Zambia. Income for the period was £38,772.43. ## _**Expenditure**_ All Charity expenditure has been fully accounted for in the period. Disbursements of restricted funds totalling £30,357.87 have been made to Elephant Charge Zambia in accordance with the Charity’s funding and expenditure policy with further payments to be made in the near future. ## _**Going Concern**_ The Charity shows surplus funds of £5,372.65 in the period. As the Charity is still very much in its infancy, the trustees foresee a significant increase in donations in the coming months. The Charity financial forecast for the next three years forms part of the Charity Strategy document. ## _**Cash at Bank**_ The Charity GBP bank account at Metro Bank had a balance of £4,377.90 at the end of the period. The Charity USD bank account at Metro Bank had a balance of $1,590.95 (£994.75) at the end of the period. The Charity account held at Paypal had a balance of £0.00 at the end of the period. N.B.
