Objectives and Activities:
The purpose of Trust 3.0 (charity registration number 1203317) is to advance the education of the public in the subject of digital privacy.
Our main activities in relation to the advancement of this mission have been to create content with industry experts, which we have made available to the public via channels such as LinkedIn and YouTube.
The trustees confirm that they have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit when exercising their powers and duties. They are aware of the guidance, have taken it into account in their decision-making, and can demonstrate that the charity’s activities are carried out in a manner that is for the public benefit.
Outside of the trustees, the contribution made by volunteers has been extensive.
Achievements & Performance:
Our main achievements over the past eighteen months. We built a network of trusted advisers, producing content alongside leading industry experts and organisations. Developed a digital privacy framework for corporates. All to advance public awareness and public safety with regard to digital privacy.
Financial Review:
The final balance of charity accounts, month ending March 2025, is £272, with no outstanding debtors or creditors.
Money held in reserve is to pay for the ongoing expenses incurred by the charity, including but not limited to running costs.
The decision to keep the charity running as an ongoing concern will be determined by the success we achieve in the coming twelve months.
The charity's main source of funding comes from trustee donations.
Structure, Governance, Management:
Our charity was incorporated as a CIO with the Charity Constitution as the governing document.
Our trustee selection follows a strict procedure consisting of a three-stage interview process, only after the potential candidate has been identified as an industry expert with experience in data/digital privacy.
