To advan￿ the Christian faith as expressed in the 'articl8s of religion of
the free methodist chur¢h in the united kingdom. as presently set out in
appendix 1 of the charity's constitution for the public beneftt in
accordance with the doctrines, disciplines and usages of that church as
set forth in the free methodist church book of discipline (2019) by
organising règular meetings for worship, teaching, community support.

Our Vlslon and Values
We seek to be a Biblically rooted, Spirit-filled and Christ focused
fe110v￿hIp of Christians living for Jesus Christ in Sawley, Long Eaton and
the surrounding area.
We want to sée Sawley, Long Eaton and the surrounding area renewed
through the living out and proclamation of the gosp81, such that we not
only see converts, but whole life disciples of Jesus Christ.
We have undertaken during the period of these accounts to meet
regularly for worship, for prayer and have met also in house meeting
groups on a fortnightly basis. Activities have taken place weekly both for
adults and children.

We have supported other local charities who aim to provide relief for
sickness, to ease financial hardship, to promote and preserve good
health, donating a total of £5,990 in the period.
The Trustees have considered the future direction of the Church and
proposed to the members (and agreed at an EGM on SLsnday February
22r￿ 2026) that the feasibility of employing a Pastor should be explored
bvhich they believe woutd greatly assist the future mission and growth of
New Harvest.
The Trustees Confirm that they have complied with the requirements of
S8Ction 4 of the Charities Act 2011 to have regard to the public benefit
guidan￿ published by Charrty Commission for England and Wales.

Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during the year
Since January 2025 we meet for worship &ach Sunday moming at th8
Sawley Memorial Hall.
Our service has a mix of contemporary and tradFtional Christian music.
and a time of Bible based teaching as well as prayer.
We provide a play area for children attending this service and also
encourage children through relevant bible teaching for their age groups.
Including Children, attendance at worship averages 30.
We also have fortnightly prayer and fellowship meetings wthich meet at
various members homes. In addition, the￿ is a bible study group vthich
meets in a Socal Goffe8 shop fortnightly.
In June 2025 we had a stand at the local carnival and that day we
provided activities for children involving crafts and games and we handed
out leaflets which gave details of our church activities.
In De￿mber 2024 we held a Christingle Servi￿ whid) a number of
families attended.
Church members also support other local charities which care for
homeless people and new parents by providing food donations and
assisting with th&ir activtties.
We reserve a percentage of our income to donate to other causes and
have nominated several charities and good causes to re￿1ve a share of
this support this year.

Brief statement of the
charity's policy on reserves
Reserves are held in the bank account and as Cash.
We aim to retain an amount of funds equivalent to 6 months of regular
costs to cover rent and essential expenditure in reSe￿e at all times.
Funds above that sum will be donated to other charitable causes and be
put towards achieving growth for the future
An amount of £10,000 was given for expenditure on premises or the
employment of a Pastor and is set aside as a restricted fund at 31st
August 2025.

this money was donated by a church member to fund
expenditre on alternative premises for the future. However she
