Financial Review
| Financial Review | ||
|---|---|---|
| Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period |
Para 1.21 | Income: £1764.61 [May-Dec 2023]. Our main income so far is though donations, mainly from the beneficiaries. Spend: £633.14 [May-Dec 2023] This is mainly for hiring venues (for the activities), buying material/resources for the activities (Art & craft, books, gifts,…etc.), and costs of food and support for the homeless & refugees. Trustees have not been paid. |
| Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held |
Para 1.22 | The charity only registered in May 2023. According to the above (Income/Spend), the remaining balance (on Dec. 2023) is £1131.47. This is to support (when needed) any shortfall in donation (and also to make sure that no one is disadvantaged) In the longer term, we are planning to invest in a building (whenever possible/feasible) to help run and expand on our activities. This would cut out the costs of renting venues and allow us to develop our events to be more centralised and easily accessible. |
