How the charity is constituted

Appointment of trustees Trustee selection methods (1) There must be at least 3 trustees. Apart from the first (eg. appointed by, elected by) trustees, every trustee must be appointed by a resolution of the trustees passed at a special meeting called under clause 15 of this deed. Section D Achievements and performance

The mosque provides religious education for young people, teaching the Summary of the main principles and values of Islam in an engaging and supportive achievements of the charity environment. Activities include structured Qur’an lessons, learning about during the year Islamic teachings, and regular lectures held on Saturdays and Sundays. Alongside religious education, the mosque offers recreational and social activities such as football and indoor sessions, helping young people build confidence, social skills, and a positive connection with the mosque while encouraging learning through engagement.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/12/2023.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
