## **Charity Acvity**

During the period, the supporters program was unsuccessful, and aracted no further supporters. However the UCPG joined the Gi-Aid scheme and benefied from the tax relief on donaons received during the financial year.

The UCPG aended a number of events between during the period, displaying our collecon of vehicles to the public in general in line with our charitable aims and objecves. Once again a bus running day event was held in Biggleswade during October 2024, and was supported by a number of vising vehicles. Free bus services were operated which provided links to local aracons including The Shuleworth Collecon and Jordans Mill. It was well supported by members of the public who took trips out on the buses. The event was supported by Biggleswade Town Council and aended by over 250 members of the public.

The availability of vehicles was an issue at mes, with issues prevenng some vehicles being used during the year. These were repaired but took longer than expected. In addion storage costs have increased from the previous year. This has been offset by increased donaons received from aending events and public support. Sales of transport related collectables increased bringing in addional income.
