IGSFI Centre was funded by a Department of Health grant and hostèd within thè National Health 5èrvieè.

Palliative Care Igenerali5tl, tasked to spread GSFto all GP practices in the UL During th￿ period w￿hIrt the
NHS as part ofthe implementstion ofthe National EOLC Strategy and under the leadershlp of the NHS End
of Life Care Tearn, GSF at baslc levd was spread to tover every GP Pfadcè in the UK, though the BMA and
Quallty Outcome Framework IQOFI . Public Health England monltored spread and by 2010 95% of all GP
practlCE5 were undertaking bronze level GSF ie ttw had a GSFI Palliati¥e care rw5ter and a fjSF meeting
to dlscuss proactNe care of these patients. trig8ered bythe GSF Proactive Identificatlon Tool. This national

contlnue thls work. The Department of Hea￿h conflmied a fomiallsed weement wlth the GSF Centre CIC
