Objectives and activilies of SADA E ZAINAB TRUST {S.A)
To promote and advance the religion of Islam as narrated and interpreted by our Holy Prophet
Muhammed IP.B.U.H) and Thé A-lmma lthna-Ashèri Ahlul Bayt IA.Sl for the benefit ofthe public in
Rochdale in particular, but not exclusively by..
Providing lectures and other opportunities for Islamic education on the principals of Islam, th8 Quran and
the teachings of the prophet Muhammed IP.B.U.H)',
Organising and participating in interfaith 8V8nts and activities to enlighten others about the Islamic
r81igion',
Providing pastoral care and support such as provision of food to those in povety or the homeless as a
practical expression of th8 Islamic Faith.
Management and govemanca arrangements
The management of SADA E ZAINAB TRUST (S.Al is undertaken by the trustees ol management
compnsing of a Chaiman, General secretary, Treasurer.
No trustee or committee member received any emoluments during the yèar in respect of Sérvices
performed, expenses were paid to Iruslees on behalf of the trust against r8c8iPts and 8XP8ns8s register
for events th8t have taken place or due to take place. No evidence of financial benefit by any trnstee or
committee member.
Thè yaarfy programmes were conducted in Rajab and Shaban Milads with Majalis in Ram8dhan,
Muharram, Safar were h81d at the hired venues with regular attendees. A number of Iftars were held
during the month of Ramadhan. Food and refreshments for Ihese Iftars were provided by the trusl.
Likewise, majalis were also conducted for the first ten days of the month of Muharram and Arba88n and
on other special dates. Scholars and reciters were engaged to speak at the above-m8ntion8d fvnctions.
Our largest Annual Majlis which was held on 151h June 2024 held in a hired mosque in Oldttam. The costs
for thgso majlis were bome by the trust.
Total receipts from subscriplion and donations were £183.576 which repres8nt8d the amounts paid into
bank through standing ord8rs and sundry donations. Bank Interest received was £355 bnnging lotal
income to £183,93100
Majaalis, Milads and charities activities sponsored by the trust amounted to £68,060 this represents
venue hira, food (Niazl and refreshment provided and paid for by the Irust for each programme and other
main events. Also, contribution towards r8citers' fees and travelling fares paid directly by Irust for the
events throughout the Islamic year.
The cost of venue hire amounted to £26,000.00 to allow programmes to take place and other special
events including Ramadhan, Muharram days and annual majlis..
Bank charges amounted to £130.00 for the financial year.
For the year ended 17th May 2025 there worn leftover donations over expenditure cash at bank
£89,741 leaving a total reserve of £145,925 at close 17th May 2025.

It is hoped that the charity will continue with its activities of providing the needs of Muslims communities in
futurè years and it is strongly hoped and expected that the next annual Majlis will tske place during June
2025.
