Challenges
- In September 2023 the CEO and Deputy CEO were deported from Malawi due to overstaying their visa. They are in the process of applying to be allowed to return. The progress of the charity almost exclusively relied on their efforts. As well as applying to return, other options are being considered to keep the charities activities progressing. However, in the short term the charitable activities of Imago Malawi’s sister organisation ‘The Imago Foundation’ are on hold.
This summary highlights Imago Malawi's dedication to supporting environmental sustainability and educational development in Malawi, alongside our efforts to raise funds and awareness through engaging activities in the UK.
