The Trustees met informally (with other volunteers} in 2022 with a view to entering a
lease from The Church in Wales to manage and maintain the Taigarth Church Hall for
the benefit of the communityof Taigarth and environs.
Taigarth Community Hall was registered as a Charity in May 2023 and consequent upon
signature of the lease took possession ofthe Hall in December 2023 atwhich time the
Hall was renamed Taigarth Community Hail.
Annual Report
During2024the Trustees. assisted by manyvolunteers, have established the Hall as an
attractive venue forcommunityevents with the emphasis upon inclusion. Income
accrues from rentalfees paid bythose making use of the hall and from a varietyof fund
raising events run byand involvingvolunteers.
The Hall has become a safe space for people of allages. a place where conversation
and friendship are the cornerstone of the Hall's success.
Duringthe yearthe Trustees used funds raised. with somegenerous donations and a
grant from Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations. to provide a disabled lavatory
facility and to upgrade existing sanitary facilities. Further fund raising is targeted at re-
roofingthe Hall in 2025.
Alltime and effort put into managingand maintainingthe Hall is offe￿d on an entirely
voluntary basis bythe Trustees and manyothers. All funds are used to cover running
costs and otherwiseto improve the facilities in accord wtth the objectives of the Charity.
The appended accounts covering actiwties duringthe yearto 31 December2024. have
been prepared bytheTrustees and independentlyverified bya qualified third party
