To advance the education of the public in the history and heritage of Corfe Castle village and its surrounding area, in particular but not exclusively by: (a) The maintenance and management of The Corfe Castle town hall, the museum, the town cross and other assets and artefacts belong to and entrusted to the Corfe Castle Town Trust;

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) To Advance The Education Of The Public In The History And Heritage Of Corfe Castle Village And Its Surrounding Area, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:(a) The Maintenance And Management Of The Corfe Castle Town Hall, The Museum, The Town Cross And Other Assets And Artefacts Belong To And Entrusted To The Corfe Castle Town Trust;(b) Informing And Educating The Public About The Heritage And History Of The Parish And Local Area Of Corfe Castle Through Making Collections Of Artefacts, Items And Sources Of Historical Interest Accessible To The Public For Their Information And Enjoyment Through Displays;(c) Facilitating Understanding Of Historical Interest Of Other Sites And Buildings Within Corfe Castle And The Surrounding Area Through Agreement And Partnership Where Appropriate;(d) Seeking Recognised Accreditation, Standards Of Governance, Collection Management And Visitor Service(2) The Preservation For The Public Benefit Of The Grade Ii Listed Corfe Castle Town Hall Building And The Provision Of A Town Hall For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Corfe Castle.(3) To Further Such Exclusively Charitable Purposes For The General Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Corfe Castle As The Trustees From Time To Time Think Fit.
