The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 30 September 2025. The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019). 

## **OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES** 

## **Objectives and aims** 

To advance the Christian Faith for the benefit of the Public per our Statement of Beliefs/Faith 

The advancement of the Christian religion but not exclusively, via broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature. 

To advance the Christian religion in England and internationally which will be for the benefit of the public through the holding of church services, prayer meetings, lectures and talks from seasoned men and women of God towards a practical and victorious Christian life.

## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE Charitable activities** 

Church Services and Fellowship Activities: 

The charity currently holds church services three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Previously, services were held daily. 

On Sundays, adult Bible Study sessions are conducted before the main service. These sessions deepen understanding of Scripture, encourage peaceful and godly living, and prepare members spiritually for the main service. 

Men's and Women's Fellowship: 

The Men's and Women's Fellowship meet on Mondays. Established during the previous year, this fellowship includes presentations from counsellors, medical professionals (including paediatricians, gynaecologists, nutritionists, and general practitioners), motivational speakers, and pastors. 

These sessions provide both spiritual insight and practical guidance for everyday Christian living, helping members maintain a healthy balance between spiritual and physical wellbeing while fostering positive relationships within their families and communities. 

Revivals and Half-Night Services: During the year, the church successfully organised: 

- Three revival programmes; and 

- Twelve half -night prayer services. 

These gatherings provided opportunities for spiritual renewal, encouragement, and fellowship. 

Prayer Warriors and Prayer Pillars: 

The Prayer Warriors and Prayer Pillars groups meet on Wednesday and Friday evenings to intercede for the church, the local community, the nation, children, world leaders, pastors, and other matters of concern. 

– Sunday School Children's Ministry: 

The Children's Ministry remains committed to nurturing the spiritual, moral, and personal development of children, helping them become responsible and productive members of society, the church, the nation, and the wider global community. 

## Outreach and Evangelism: 

The charity continued its outreach and evangelism activities throughout the year, resulting in increased attendance and engagement. 

Spiritual Outreach and Community Support:: 

As part of its quarterly activities, the church organises a Prayer Carousel, a continuous prayer chain operating from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Members and members of the public are invited to participate throughout the day, praying for themselves, the church, and the nation. This initiative has become an important platform for spiritual connection and intercession. 

Over the past year, Mount Calvary Cross Ministry Abundant Grace International has continued to reach local communities and international audiences through its social media platforms. Through these channels, the church has shared messages of hope, integrity, empowerment, encouragement, and love with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, languages, and faiths. In addition to spiritual outreach, the charity has provided: 

- Bereavement counselling and support; 

- Funeral and memorial services;

- Pastoral care: 

- Personal counselling; 

- Support for marriage, relationship, and family issues; and 

- Visits to members and families. 

Through these services, many individuals have received comfort, encouragement, healing, and practical support in addressing life's challenges. 

Collectively, these initiatives have contributed to the spiritual, emotional, and social wellbeing of those served and have strengthened the charity's role as a source of hope and support within the community. 

## **FINANCIAL REVIEW** 

## **Financial position** 

The Charity's detailed results for the period and the state of affairs are set out on page 8 to 16 The charity's accumulated surplus funds for the year were £141,071 as compared to £73,570 for the previous year. 

## **Reserves policy** 

The Charity aims to retain sufficient reserve equivalent to a minimum of three months overhead commitments of £7,000, these reserves are held in liquid funds, and this level of reserves has been maintained during most of the period in question. 

## **Going concern** 

No material uncertainties related to events or conditions that may casts significant doubt on the ability of the charity to continue as a going concern have been identified by the trustees.

## **FUTURE PLANS** 

In the coming year, Mount Calvary Cross Ministry Abundant Grace International will continue to develop programmes that enrich lives and strengthen communities, both locally and internationally. Planned developments include: 

## Expanded Outreach Programmes: 

The charity intends to broaden its local and international outreach activities, increasing its impact and support for communities in need. 

## Midday Prayer Meetings: 

Plans are in place to commence Midday Prayer Meetings from Monday to Friday, between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. 

These sessions will serve as a vital platform for spiritual growth, equipping and empowering members as they take turns sharing exhortations from the Word of God. Through prayer, encouragement, and the teaching of Scripture, participants will be strengthened in their faith and developed in their ability to minister to others. 

## Transition to Hybrid Worship: 

As membership continues to grow internationally, the charity is actively seeking a physical location to complement its online ministry. This development will enable the church to operate as a hybrid ministry, offering both in-person and online services. 

## Youth Ministry: 

Plans are underway to establish a dedicated Youth Ministry focused on the spiritual, mental, and physical wellbeing of young people, providing opportunities for personal growth, discipleship, and community engagement. 

## Church Outings and Fellowship Events: 

To strengthen relationships and encourage fellowship among members, the church intends to organise a variety of social events, including: 

- Picnics; 

- Theme park visits; 

- Health walks; and 

- Christmas fellowship dinners. 

These activities will provide opportunities for members to build stronger connections beyond virtual interactions. 

## **STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT** 

## **Governing document** 

The Governing Instrument of the charity is its adopted constitution (Trust Deed). 

During the year, The Trustees formally met twice. However, The Trustees are in communication on a much more frequent basis. 

## **Risk management** 

The trustees have a duty to identify and review the risks to which the charity ischarity exposed and to ensure appropriate controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance against fraud and error.

## **Independent examiner's report to the trustees of Mount Calvary Cross Ministry Abundant Grace International.** 

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of Mount Calvary Cross Ministry Abundant Grace International (the Trust) for the year ended 30 September 2025. 

## **Responsibilities and basis of report** 

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act'). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under Section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under Section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 

1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by Section 130 of the Act; or 

2. the accounts do not accord with those records; or 

3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination. 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

## **1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES** 

## **Basis of preparing the financial statements** 

The financial statements of the charity, which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102, have been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 102) 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019)', Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland' and the Charities Act 2011. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. 

## **Income** 

All income is recognised in the Statement of Financial Activities once the charity has entitlement to the funds; it is probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably. 

## **Expenditure** 

Liabilities are recognised as expenditure as soon as there is a legal or constructive obligation committing the charity to that expenditure, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in settlement and the amount of the obligation can be measured reliably. Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category. Where costs cannot be directly attributed to particular headings they have been allocated to activities on a basis consistent with the use of resources. 

## **Taxation** 

The charity is exempt from tax on its charitable activities. 

## **Fund accounting** 

Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees. 

Restricted funds can only be used for particular restricted purposes within the objects of the charity.  Restrictions arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for particular restricted purposes. 

Further explanation of the nature and purpose of each fund is included in the notes to the financial statements. 

## **Hire purchase and leasing commitments** 

Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to the Statement of Financial Activities on a straight-line basis over the period of the lease.
