Trustee Annual Report for the period 5 February 2024 – 5 February 2025 

## 1. Introduction 

The trustees of The Inkredible Foundation present their annual report together with the financial statements for the year ended 5 February 2025. This report has been prepared in accordance with the Charities Act 2011, the charity’s constitution, and the Charities SORP (FRS 102). 

## 2. Aims and Objectives 

Charitable Objects: 

To promote good mental health amongst individuals who have visible scarring due to surgery, injuries or self-inflicted harm, in particular but not exclusively by: 

i. Raising awareness of the benefits of permanent tattooing options available to disguise scarring; 

ii. Providing services of suitably qualified tattoo artists experienced in these fields of tattooing; and 

iii. Providing support and advice to beneficiaries and signposting to relevant external services. 

## Vision: 

A society where individuals living with visible scarring feel empowered, confident, valued, and supported. 

## Mission: 

To use specialist tattooing, creative expression, and community support to help individuals rebuild confidence and mental wellbeing after trauma. 



## 3. Activities for Public Benefit 

The trustees confirm they have complied with their duty to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. All activities undertaken were directly linked to our charitable objects and provided clear public benefit. 

Activities delivered: 

- Scar-cover tattoo services delivered by qualified artists 

- Emotional, mental health, and peer-support opportunities 

- Awareness-raising campaigns and high-profile media features 

- Community-building events and workshops 

- Collaboration with local and national partners 

## 4. Achievements and Performance 

Key Achievements: 

- Nearly 100 scar cover-up tattoos delivered 

- Expanded digital presence and community reach 

- National media features on BBC Breakfast, ITV Tonight, radio, and print media 

- Strong partnerships built with artists, charities, and mental health professionals 

- Delivered workshops, yoga sessions, and two major dance performances 

- Founder recognised at BBC Make a Difference Awards; charity received national award in 2025 

Outcomes and Impact: 

- Improved confidence and wellbeing 

- Reduced isolation and strengthened community connections 

- Empowerment through creativity and shared experiences 



- Beneficiaries supported across a wide range of scarring experiences 

Numbers Helped: 

- Nearly 100 people directly supported with tattoo services 

- Many more indirectly supported through events and engagement

- Collaborative charity events 

- Peer-support pathways with mental health professionals 

- Wellbeing workshops, yoga and dance sessions

5. Financial Review 

Total Income: £49,286.60 

Total Expenditure: £30,593.48 

Net Movement: £18,693.12 surplus 

Income sources included donations, fundraising, deposits, and a National Lottery grant. 

Expenditure included service delivery, events, wellbeing programmes, administration, and operational costs. 

Reserves Policy: 

The trustees maintain sufficient unrestricted reserves to ensure sustainability and meet future commitments. 



Going Concern: 

The trustees confirm the charity is financially stable and able to continue operations. 

6. Structure, Governance & Management 

Governing Document: 

The Inkredible Foundation is a CIO governed by its constitution. 

Trustee Appointment: 

Trustees are appointed in accordance with the constitution and oversee governance, finance, safeguarding, risk, and strategy. 

Risk Management: 

Risks assessed included safeguarding, financial stability, data protection, health and safety, and reputational risk. Appropriate policies and controls are in place.
