## **Neuadd Pentref Penysarn - 1203065** 

I submitted the Annual Return for the above CIO on 19 January 2025. The return showed that there had been no income and no expenditure for the reporting period 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. This was due to problems with Barclays Bank plc that resulted in the charity not having a bank account until 19 November 2024, but were unable to access it for some time after due to ongoing problems with the bank. 

As a result, the trustees had no option but to continue its activities as the original trust, Penysarn Village Hall, 509693 until such time as bank accounts were opened in the name of Neuadd Pentref Penysarn. 

Bank accounts are now in place and I have applied on line to wind up the original trust, Penysarn Village Hall, 509603, on 15 January 2025 but as yet have had no response. 

I cannot find an option for submitting a nil return account and, naively, supposed that the Annual Return would serve instead as there had been no activity. 

I would appreciate your guidance on how to go about this so that the default notice can be removed from our record.
