July 2025, trustees meeting held, three trustees present plus two members of preschool. Preschool staff updated the trustees on the progress preschool has made. They requested financial support  to assist with the cost of outdoor equipment, the exact price unknown as school were also contributing to the cost as the equipment would be shared. Preschool suggested the approximate cost would be £4000  Once the order finalised preschool would submit a formal request. All trustees agreed a cheque up to this value was acceptable. 

A  discussion held  based on previous requests to find new trustees to replace current trustees who wish to retire. This has been unsuccessful so all agreed to begin the process of closing the charity. An AOM would be called. 

September 2025, Preschool submitted a request for £3200 financial support towards outdoor equipment. Cheque paid out. 

December 2025 Charity Commission process begun to close Friends of Llangynidr Preschool.
